Terms of Service
Last updated: September 8, 2026
1. Service description
Canadian CPA Courses (“we”, “us”, or “the Service”) provides on-demand continuing professional development (CPD) video courses and related learning materials for Canadian accounting professionals. Courses may include video lessons, assessments, and certificates of completion.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to access purchased or free courses. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, keeping your credentials confidential, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Payments and refunds
Paid courses are priced as shown at checkout (typically in CAD). Payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). Refunds: placeholder policy — please contact us before or shortly after purchase if you believe a charge was made in error. We may update refund terms and will post material changes on this page.
4. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, text, graphics, quizzes, certificates templates, branding, and software on this site are owned by Canadian CPA Courses or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access purchased or free content for your personal professional learning. You may not copy, redistribute, record, scrape, resell, or publicly display course materials without prior written consent.
5. Educational purpose and CPD eligibility
Courses are provided for educational purposes only. They are not accredited by CPA Canada. Whether learning hours qualify as verifiable CPD (or Québec structured CPD) depends on your provincial or territorial CPA body’s rules and your professional judgment. Ethics CPD hours are not included unless a course expressly states otherwise. Always confirm eligibility and hour classification with your governing body.
6. Disclaimer
Content is general information and does not constitute professional advice, audit opinions, tax advice, or legal advice. You remain solely responsible for how you apply any material in practice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canadian CPA Courses and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the course giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or CAD $20 if you paid nothing).
